Heading off to Flagler beach, Florida.... Wednesday.
Cannot wait to get the H&^%$LL out of NY and the cold and snow!
Teaching a photog. educational workshop and doing model shoots on the beach...
YAY!

On a Lakland "on topic" note:
Looking forward to getting these new DR Marcus Miller strings OFF my Burl 44-94 when I get back..
Not my thing.
I find them to .........well ummm not nickle like...hahaha!!
I just like DR Nickle Low riders I guess...should not have bothered trying these M.Miller Stainless out.

Lastly...the US Scheff seems to still be my favorite Lakland

How long you gonna be in Flagler? I get back Saturday evening and there's some good bands over that way. It's not far from me. I could buy the first round if you're still in town.

Hey thanks!
I get there the 13th and leave on the 19th.
Saturday and Sunday night at the end of both workshop days, me and the other instructor will be hanging with the workshop attendees.
Doing the fireside Tiki bar thing across from the ocean. It is part of what is advertised with the workshop.

Bummer, would be cool to meet ya and knock back a few pints! And talk basses!

Well the focus will be on the days events at the workshop. And since the attendees are paying a good buck to talk photography, Might not fare well when a truck load of basses shows up...LOL

Which reminds me: I've decided that this is my year to get back into cameras, specifically good video-capable SLRs. I've narrowed it down to two, and will likely buy right after St Pats. It's good to be finally getting on top of this, but intimidating because I've been out if the loop since cameras used film.

hahaha!!

I sold off all my film cameras like bad stock years ago.
But do miss the shoot and drop off at the lab thing.
This endless computer editing crap will kill a person.
Go with Nikon, pass on Canon.

oh yeah, on topic...I like me some Laklands... ( since this is not a photography forum lol )

Hahaha!!!! I still shoot film. I haven't committed to a digital SLR yet. I always liked being able to change lenses for different stuff.
