I ordered a set the other day, back order for a few weeks, but I'll give a review for the team when I get my hands on them.

| | (a.k.a. Black Bart) | | | | | Blacker than Geezer's Here's the 44-64 I got recently, just finished a little Black Bart style makeover this evening - allow me to introduce - Penumbra
All black hardware and pickguard from Lakland, I'm actually keeping this one passive
And here's the kicker, I was told it was a 2010 when I bought it, but during the tear down I found 07-15-11 DWG written on the neck. |

whew! finally caught up...sorry for the wave people....back to your locally metered postings! | Thanks Doude, glad you weren't too sore about the Dougy Road photo. I would have used another photo of you, but there weren't any others of you lying around.
Let's just put it this way "umbra" is Latin for shadow - and it's not completed obscured in shadow due to the maple headstock - so "Penumbra."
There was also a second date at the base of the neck - sometime in Feb of 2011, forgot to write the exact date down.

I love 1.75 necks!!! | You misinterpreted what I was saying. I played 6ers exclusively w/ wide necks for over 15 years. But the string spacing at the nut was still roughly jazz or Stingray style (equal to a 1.5" or 1.65" 4 string). Prior to switching to 6ers in '93, it was the same: jazz or stingray nut width 4 string basses. It's the spacing, not the width.

But I need an MusicMan because I need humbucker bass with active electronics, but where I am, in my country there wasn't Lakland 44-94 at this moment either in classfields either a new one to buy. So I bought a MM Sterling
