I ordered one of the Trans Burgundy Skyline DJ4s. I am (im)patiently waiting while she's back at the factory for some Chi-Sonics before she ships.

I just sold my 44-01 so I am temporarily ineligble for the club (ha ha).

I'll post pics of my new baby when she arrives...

You guys are motivating me. I gotta get my Chi 44-60LE set up properly (in my spare time). A little too much fight in that one. But the tone!!!

Anyone have any good upgrade ideas or have a source for pickguards for skyline DJ4's? I can't find much info on either besides the typical hipshot or j Retro options.

I said I had Glamour Shots taken of the family... here they are...

First off... My main player... '04 Body w/ Barts and an '11 Neck

Next up... My Fretless... '06 body w/ Lakland LH3 and '04 Neck

'11 AJ body with '06 Maple Neck... strung with Stainless DR Lo Riders... I may be swapping the electronics for Aguilar Pups and Pre... just because I can...

And last but not least... my Bob Glaub... She's stock from (if I'm deciphering the SN correctly) '02. She may be getting a tort guard in the near future. I like tort.

OH but I'm not finished!

These aren't mine... but I had to share because they are SO beautiful...

Here's a 2013 Limited Edition 55-01 at Premier Bass Guitar in Superior, CO. The picture doesn't do it justice... the flame in the top just pops!

And a Skyline Hollow body that was refinished in Ice Blue Metallic. The owner of PBG's personal bass... Gorgeous!!!!

I had real silver flake pickguard created by this guy, it's on my 44-02. It's slightly thicker than a standard guard but OH SO COOL!! He was great to work with and seemed as excited as me to be creating the guard. He made a slightly different one for my Classic 'Ray. I highly recommend him!

I edited this pic to try to make it show some of the true look:
It sparkles like glitter too but this pic was taken at an angle to show the marbling/crackle.
