Tobias = my favorite headstock

And matching the body finish is also nice.

MTD USA is kinda cool.

The worst IMO is Hanwinkel. cliff Bordwell is a close 2nd. Just not my thing and the headatock would prevent me rrom buying one. But they are both killer bass makers!

Forgot this, I think Tedesco has a really cool headstock, not too crazy, but still original.
Kind of in between Fender and Fodare somewhere. nice and sleek

That Ibanez and Dingwall is classy! Wonder why Ibby didn't continue with that design.

I love the classic Fender headstock of course, but I do also like "paddle" type of headstocks of different shapes & varieties (Warwick, CT, etc).

Stayin' alive...

Can't let this thread die! Forgot to post the headstock shot of my custom Supersonic bass here once I finished it. Yes, it has a visual similarity to the Warwick Buzzard bass. (not intended - I was specifically cueing/referencing the body design)
Read about the coincidence of the luthier who built it for me for a "small-world" John Entwistle story on my Luthiers Corner thread. Custom Performer/Supersonic bass
