I have one. If you go to Jerome's site (which you probably already have), the one on the home page with the single MusicMan style pickup is mine.
I really, REALLY love this bass! It's a very comfortable bass and much more natural feeling than you would think. Coming from a Fender Jazz, I don't think it took me more than 10 minutes to get used to it.
It will definitely help with your tendinitis (at least it did with me) but it's not a magic bullet. It won't make up for deficient technique but it is significantly more comfortable to play than my Jazz and WAY more comfortable than my Jack Casady Signature. (Sorry Jack!)
Two things I think you should keep in mind before you buy it (Torzal owners or Jerome: please correct me if I'm wrong or am missing something): 1) Since the neck is twisting, I have not found a way to bend strings or use heavy vibratro. I didn't use these things before so I haven't really tried to figure it out though. 2) I switched to floating thumb technique from keeping my thumb anchored on the E & A strings. With the Torzal however, I find it more comfortable to play with my thumb anchored. Since I have a 4-string this doesn't affect the playability but 5 & 6 stringers should look into this.
I can't say enough about how good this bass sounds, how effortlessly it plays, how good it looks, how well it's built, how perfectly it balances, what a great guy Jerome is to work with, etc.
I don't know how helpful this is but if you send me specific questions, maybe I can be more helpful.
