I've played a few of these and I thought they were just okay. A friend was selling them in her music store here in Vancouver. She had some concerns about the management at the time (about two years ago)
The acrylic strats weight a ton. The Ric copy I played seemed okay, but it really wasn't a Ric. I did a review on my website http://101basses.com/bass-number-50-logical-bass-model/

I don't have any accounts with any image websites, but I'll make posts with them as attachments.
Sadly two at a time.
Enjoy. |

I have never gotten the fascination with those who want "copies" (code for rip-offs) of Rics. You can buy a brand spanking new Ric for between $1,500 and $1,800 any day of the week (about the price of a new MIA Fender).
So, rather than scour the world for cheap imitations, why not save up your bucks (or buy one on payments from one of these on-line stores - establish your credit ) and get the "real deal"? | the problem with that line of thinking assumes that I can even get my hands on the real deal. I asked a guy at long and mcquade once if he could get one for me, he said it would take me 2 years for them to even get one in. Keep in mind as well that long and mcquade, at least the branch closest to me, is notorious for being mediocre at best with handling ordered products. I COULD get one from musicians-friend, or a similar website, but then I wouldn't be able to play before I pay, now would I? Ergo, I think I might rather try my hand at getting a copy of one, which might only take a few weeks to ship, and cost 1/4 of the real thing - which as I've heard is a crapshoot.
That being said, would I rather have an authentic Rick? Yes, without a doubt, but the problem is that such a product simply isn't available to me to play before I pay, and at 2 grand I don't really want to buy something on faith that it will work well.

A family owned company with a rich musical heritage that hasn't compromised any bit of quality or integrity in over 75 years. That's worth paying full price for IMO. | I'd rethink the quality statement. I love rickenbackers but I've seen the stories on here and they're almost notorious for their lack of quality control. |

However Logical is very friendly with the glued-in approach for most models, including most of those basses I posted.
Your best bet is contacting Terence David, President of Logical.
