| | | | Looking for a good new bass, only got $300, what should i get? I've been playing on a Jay Turser 400c for a while and i think its time for me to upgrade. I play mainly with a pick or slapping, and i play rock or funk. I've only got around three hundred dollars to get a new bass and i want to know what would be the best bass to get. |

Otherwise Squier VM. The all maple ones are very nice.

VM, CV or an SR500 if/when you can deal on one with a coupon and some squeezing on the store manager.
