TalkBass Forums - Looking for some new stuff

In looking to spend about $900-1200 on a nice amp/can set up. I've been trying to do as much research as possible, but there are just so many options and I'm kind of new to buying heads and cabs. I've always been a combo guy, but feel like I'm ready to step up to the big leagues now. I'm think about a 350w head and either a 410 or 115 cab.

What are some of your suggestions recommendations.

I want a nice warm, thick tone.

Ive been looking at ampegs and hartley. I think SWRs are out of my price range.
