Lost my bass Hello everyone. Part of my multiple stages of dealing with grief is... acceptance. I lost my bass last year. It's a simple Yamaha RBX-374, silver. It isn't an expensive bass, but it cost me a lot of money since Malaysia has to import it's musical instruments piece by piece. The bloody problem is... I was in denial for nearly a year. Of course I tried my best to relocate it but in the end... I couldn't. So please be careful and take good care of your instruments. I'm already sick of playing somebody else's bass for the past months, and now I'm finally ready to get started buying a new one. Thanks for reading. The catharsis was necessary. |
You should Always have a backup bass. I remember I had a gig two years ago with my band and I caught some dude trying to steal my Bass head. I kicked his ass soo good. I felt sorry for him. Good luck on finding it. It will come up. Check in eBay, Craigslist , or a local pawnshop. My brother got his Bass stolen. He couldn't find it for months. He looked up on the Internet an found it. I know, I talk alot. |
if i lose my bass, i too, will start a thread... and grieve!:( condolences |
Best of luck getting a new one. |
Thanks for the show of solidarity guys. But the problem is that I'm pretty much broke thanks to paying for my mortgage and I can't really afford a good new one. I''ve resorted to just getting a cheap second hand one. Scouring eBay and the equivalent of my local craigslist has not turned up any good deals. |
$300, Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass. |
Looking at it now. Sounds like a good buy. |
