Thumbs up Lowe Custom Bass - Chromasonic

let me start by introducing you to Brad Lowe
www.lowecustomguitars.com

after talking to Brad , i ordered his prototype bass , the Chromasonic .

after my first gig with this bass , i realised that my much loved G&L's and Fender Precison basses
would have to take a back seat to this newcomer ...

here is a shot from Brad's website ...

the weight is a little more than my P-basses , but the bass is well balanced , with little or no neck dive ...

Lollar ThunderBird pickups provide incredible
punch and warmth , big and fat without being muddy .
the AllParts neck has a very comfortable ,
familiar feel .

the body shape and headstock design , love 'em or hate 'em , are stand out features that
separate this bass from anything else i own or have ever played ...

here's a few recent gig shots ...

I just HAVE to get a Lowe bass. I'm fighting and losing my battle with gas.

I want a slap body P with a custom paint job.

(Nickels and dimes being set aside as I type...)

I love the pickup configuration and the original styling. You don't see that much nowadays.

The blonde Chromasonic bass (#12) should be in my hands on Wednesday. I gotta tell you, I can hardly wait.

I'll have to update the "owner name" on my Facebook page then.

Thumbs up

ok , so i've had this badboy for a couple months now , and played 18 or 19 gigs with it .

rave reviews from bandmembers , and had great reviews from bassplayer friends in the audience .

this is a very comfortable , easy playing , well balanced bass , and the tone is absolutely killer .

i'm totally diggin' this bass , and i've never had anything else sound as good .

anyway , here are some shots from our New Years Eve gig ...
