Cool Me, Myself and a Dingwall Combustion Bass! - My kind of Demo

Hey People!

Wanted to share with you guys my Latest demo - this time of a Dingwall Combustion bass.

http://youtu.be/aU02V-iuxAw

This also marks the beginning of my endorsement of Dingwall basses.
The combustion model can produce some sweet tones, from thunderous slapping sounds to warm Bridge tones.

Check it out and feel free to leave a comment telling me what you thought of it!

Thanks!

Thank you guys for the kind words, really glad you liked the video.. (shameless self promotion alert) - you are welcome to check out the rest of my videos at www.youtube.com/ruleofthump

Experienced Dingwall players, any recommendations if I am interested in having another Dingwall bass? what are your impressions from the different models?

Cheers!
Or.

This is really the first clip I've seen that really shows how tight & focused the low B is on these basses. When you just thwacked that low B? It was the actually note you heard. Any other bass you do that to, the low B has to "recover",and then the note will kinda "bloom out." Nice.

FANTASTIC vid man! That is EXACTLY the sound I want in my next bass but I just can't do fanned frets.

That B string is actually not quite brand new even... when you just put a fresh set of strings that B string just shines..
I just really love the fact that it becomes a "legit" string to play, evenly through the neck.

Thank you!
I don't know if you tried but it kinda grows on you really fast, you get used to it and learn the benefits.

Man, I was just looking at getting a 5er. Had it nailed down to a few choices, and now I can't decide at all.

Well...If you have a chance go and check out a Dingwall, I'd say that if a 5th string appeals to you, you might as well get a good one...
