I ordered 34"-scale P5 specifically for the sound of G, D and A strings. I don't like the sound of the first three strings on 35"-scale fivers (however, E and B string are usually brilliant). I worried that the B will be dull. However, it is better than I expected: defined and even.

First gig with the new Lull. Nothing but positive feedback from everyone:

cool, I totally get how the lefty is put to the right of the stage. Fewer banging headstocks that way. I'm a right-of-stage righty, by the way.

I didn't get to meet any of the Beach Boys or their crew. There wasn't a meet and greet scheduled at any time.

Here are some performance pics.

Hi folks! Sorry for the hijack...
I've got a question. I'm planning to order a V4 or UV4. Sent two mails to the addresses reported in the lull website (2 of them), and...nobody answered yet...
Only a few days elapsed from my mailing, but i find myself thinking about it.
If I drop a wallop on a top notch, and high dollars, brand, I want a stellar CS, even before the purchase, in the crucial phase of deciding wich instrument to buy.
I'm italian, my english is not fluent, at least, and I prefer to write (this gives me more time to think about language).
This is the exact reason that made me re-think about a G&L purchase. G&L simply doesn't have a mail address...only phone calls.
Anybody has an opinion about this point? Maybe Mike is a super busy man. Does he answer to mails usually?
Thanks

This week included the 4th of July holiday here in the US. They may have closed for a few days.

I'm not bashing here, just sharing my experience, as I am in love with this bass so I won't let it sway my feelings towards the instrument, but I've been unsuccessful in getting a response as well. I wanted to order a replacement pick guard. Sent an email to service@mikelull back around June 25th and never got a reply. It was suggested here I was better off calling, so on June 28th I called and spoke to Paul. I asked how to go about ordering the pick guard and he gave me his email address and asked that I send him an email, which I did that day, and as of today, no reply

I am chalking it up to this being a sign that the bass is meant to stay completely original. A pick guard isn't something I'm gonna get my panties in a bunch about, but I just hope that I will get a better response if it's something important.

So great to have a big stage so you all can be up front, not hiding bak by the drummer. Bet you sounded great.

I hope that the explanation is that the Lull shop had closed for a few days, as suggested by others.
Maybe we have only to wait until the shop re-opens...we will see

I used my Lull ash/maple M4 into an SVT-CL and a Bergantino HD410 Tuesday and the techs were gushing about my tone.

The monitor guy and front of house say they ran my signal flat with only a cut at 10khz to get rid of extras highs.... they and the band were blown away by the tone. it left a great impression especially as I was subbing on the gig. My only dilema is wether to get a TC4 or a PJ4 next!

I know for sure that Paul is on vacation. I talked with Mike yesterday via phone. I know for sure that they have been swamped. Like 75 custom bass orders or something of the like. Glad mine is done!

poor iPhone recording of a Jam Session.
Lull M4V Ash/maple/maple top, 18v Bartolini -thru 90´s Peavey mini PA and 1X12" speaker
I love the nasal growl of 80/20 pan to bridge PU, noticeable at
1:00 and out from there. I use this setting 90% of the time.
Sounds better on my Eden, but..

Sound quality is bad, mix is terrible.. Enjoy!
