Mikey Way - Squier VM Mustang Compatibility

Has anyone actually tried to mount a Mikey Way neck onto a VM body (or vice-versa)? I'm curious as to how well the fit might be.

I have not done this, but I can't imagine them being too different.

You would think so, but for instance, the Mikey Way neck doesn't fit a Bronco all that well...

Well, I guess I'd be careful before I proceeded. Maybe try customer service at Fender?

i had to order a sx neck which was not exact fit but it was'nt a very hard fix! so get the exact specs on the neck pocket dimensions and take it from there?
