So yeah I'm sold, as well as this there's a upright and a dark lord now in the rockbass lineup.

Cheers, Sam
As a bass, that looks completely ridiculous me thinks...it's a playable logo though, so possibly a fun idea for tradeshows and such.

Yes, we've got quite a few new products for 2013 - including the W bass! The Triumph Lite and Dark Lord Rockbasses as you mentioned, as well as a Rockbass Star Bass and also the TB-inspired Rockbass Corvette 32" medium scale 5 string! Thanks!

That thing has got to be for promotional purposes only. They can't honestly expect to sell one.

I had to go look up the Rockbass Triumph Lite after reading about it. I think it looks pretty cool! Here's the pic...

EUB at Rockbass prices. I believe this is a win for bassists everywhere.

Those prices appear to be the MSRP, not necessarily the street price.

The original W bass was a gift to the company at our 30th Anniversary. Its been made available by request, as something fun for Warwick lovers. Thanks!

Was this a rejected Peavey design from around 1984?

I think some people have missed the point of the "W" bass.

It was presented TO Warwick by another party for their 30th anniversary. They just decided to produce and make them available, only available as a special order. If you want one, order it. If you don't, then don't order it. It's not like there will be a row of these on the wall at your local music store.
