I've owned a J bass 4 string for years, decided to get a 5, purchased a Warwick 3 months ago, and have since purchased a Warwick 6 string. Not only has having the 3 string capabilities really opened things up for me learning wise but I've really gained an appreciation for the different voices of these guitars. I'm almost ashamed
of how I was running down the J until I picked it up after 3 months thinking that I would want to sell it. It was the complete opposite. I was blown away by the totally different and great sounding quality that I never probably appreciated in the J before
Also, it became apparent how the different actions on these guitars effected what I was hearing. Just wanted to comment on this - appreciate anyone else's opinion on this..........kinda scary now - think I'm 1/2 way to wanting them all! Guess there's worse things to run yourself into serious debt over!
