Music Man Stingray 5 cost question

Hi folks! My friend got a MM Stingray 5 that has a stamp "May 22 1987" inside the neck pocket. It has a black body and it's in great condition with no issues at all. As he cannot speak any English he asked me to ask what can be the price for the bass if he would consider selling it?
