Music man sub bass help!

So I just acquired this 4 string music man but I noticed it doesn't have a serial number ticket on the was stock but it does have it in the battery compartment....is that ok? Or.....jipped??

Looks like someone simply peeled it off and relocated it.

Looks good to me. BTW...That's a really good idea. I'm refinishing mine and was going to put it in the neck pocket.
