This is a 2009 "BFR" ( Ball Family Reserve ) Stingray.
Color is Ice Blue, with blue swirl pickguard.
The neck is solid rosewood, rather than the usual maple.
They keep the headstock natural rosewood and finish it glossy....
The give the neck a natural smooth hand rubbed oil/wax finish.
The neck is like glass and plays amazingly!!!
They did not make many of these, so it is not common to find one out there in the used marketplace.
I found mine as brand new old stock at a music store EBMM Dealer in Nashville online. Never displayed or played!
My friend Markus just bought the "twin" of this one...you can see pics here in this thread of his...his is an HS version of mine.
