My SR5HH sits in an old Fender tweed case that came with a Fender RB5 a long time ago. |

| | | | Sweet basses in here guys, loving the maple roasted necks...I'll post mine later (white slo special HH) but I wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can get an HH pickguard. I've got the tortoise one now (I think, it's brown-marbleish) and I think something a little brighter would be fly. Seems like there's not a lot of places where you can buy them... |

I've had the stock black guard since I bought my bass but have been wanting to change it up. Finally took some decent pics, hard to capture the black sugar, sparkle is real subtle.

Simply love it | Hey beautiful bass - I have the same one!
I've been really impressed with the build quality and playability of this bass but have had issues with neck stability. I purchased in Nov and it came to me perfectly setup but I have had to tweak the truss rod a bunch - first for upbow then in the other direction - since I've had it. It has been colder than normal here (San Francisco) but still pretty moderate compared to other more extreme climates. It's very easy to adjust but it makes me a little uncomfortable that I've had to tweak it so much. Just wondered what your experience (or anyone else's) has been with this model or other roasted maple necks. |

O, by the way, is there something bad about this string angle on late 80s bridge? I mean problems with intonation or something else. It seems ok to me, but maybe i just don't know how it should be

Then you add one of the most beautiful neck and head stocks... That clear coat over the roswwood...Pure sex. Awesome bass man.
