My Bass is in Bass Player Magazine

Wow my bass got into BP magazine so now I'm wondering what I have to do to get in LOL!!!! This is my actual bass as it was used for promotional purposes. Still pretty cool to add the history of this bass.

Has anyone else had their bass pictured in BP?

yeah it is kinda cool. I printed out the page in color to keep with the bass. Who knows, a selling point later in life :-)

Brubaker offers another color for this model. It's called Satin Blue Doubleburst. Does anyone have an example of this color? I'd really like to cop one these used, and do a few mods on it.

Nice looking bass! Very cool. I have made it into the little comment court of opinion section a couple times, and in the Introduce Yourself part once a few years back, but no super cool gear porn pics of my babies!

Yes, my actual '67 Rickenbacker 4007 was on the last page of an issue years ago. John Slog, a vintage bass expert who used to write vintage bass articles for Bass Player and Vintage Guitar Magazine, featured the '67 Ric 4007 in an issue and mine was pictured.

John also wrote an article in Vintage Guitar Mag about the original Gibson T-Birds and included a picture of my Inverness Green '64 T-Bird.

Never mind. I found the color. I wish it was a wee bit more subtle, though.

Yeah, at least a couple of times. And my avatar bass was on the cover of one of the annual Buyer's Guides.
