(official club) more like "official support group". i have a 2000 ford station wagon that everyone calls the silver bullet, and most of my basses are worth more than it. certainly the rick and warwick, and probably the MIM fender as well. lol.
obviously the cheaper your bass is the funnier it is, but all you guys with alembics and ritters are welcome too, unless you're driving lamborghinis or something.
feel free to post pics of your bass with your car for humorous comparison; i'm not nearly motivated enough to bother doing that myself, which is probably one of the reasons my bass is worth more than my damn car.

Hell, my Squier VM is almost worth more. Would take a pic, but why ? It`s red, dirty, beat-up and ugly. Barely makes it up a hill, feels like it`s gonns fly apart @ 70. But it has an awesome stereo

I ride a bike that was given to me by a frustrated student stranger yelling "**** this bike, you want it?"
it has no brakes, no gears that work, the chain slips gears when i pedal hard.
Total price $free.00
I play a Roscoe Century 5 with a custom ramp i built between pickups and nordy dual coils on the way.
Total cost ~~ $2700

| | | | I used to drive my three Alembic Series 2s around in a Chevy truck that I bought for $2000 from a hillbilly truck driver. I eventually sold the Alembics for $7000, $5000 and $2700 so my kids could ride in something decent.

bass: Tune TBJ152, retail on the site is 1,000 ish... |

I went to trade in my 92 Toyota Corolla with 523,000 miles on it and the dealership told me they didn't even want it as a trade. I got laid off a week later and I'm still driving it today. It'll hold me, my son, and all my gear at the same time. I hate driving with a 410 in the front passenger seat!
