My FrankenJazz turned out pretty good

Not perfect, but not bad. It sounds and plays nice which is what's important to me. And it could be reverted to stock pretty easily.





The neck position humbucker is from an Aria RSB Special, and the bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Hot Stack. I routed the cavity with my trusty Dremel. I also had to go about 1/4" deeper for the humbucker.

The G and D strings don't line up perfectly, but this pickup is such a monster it doesn't seem to matter much. Lots of room for slop

Here's a quick clip I recorded to test it out. You have to wait a few seconds for the player to pop up.

what amp are you playing through? sounds nice i have a VM jag, i would like to "fix"

That's actually a plugin in Pro Tools. IK Multimedia Ampeg SVX.
