My Official Apology to Spector

About 9 years ago I started this thread

http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/gui...anties-108568/

I still have the NS2-A, still play it regularly, it still has the cross-grain that indicates (to a "professional" luthier, no less) that the neck should by now be twisted to unplayability--

--But it still plays like butter, action so low I can almost play it with my breath, and there is no indication whatsoever that this instrument will EVER be rendered unplayable.

I'd pretty much forgotten about the grain issue with this neck until recently (this morning), when I checked out a couple of my old posts...Yes, there is a cross-grain, but it is a 3-piece laminated neck-thru, and the grain on the outside laminates is straight...The luthier I took the bass to almost 10 years ago must have failed to see that.

So I feel inclined to apologize to Spector for ever having brought it up...

Karma officially clear...:hyper:
