ch33sey | That's really sad... hope you sort it out... I can't find fault with my 2011 made ray34, and I am extremely particular... |

| | | | My Ray35 just arrived today.
It has great low B sound that i really like. However, I don't like the wood grain on the body so much but I ordered it through Internet so I didn't have any choice.
I noticed that low C to D# have less growl and loudness compare to open low B. I guess I have to adjust the string height with bridge. Or may be use different set of strings.
I'm not a bassist but I wanted to know more about the lows since the low end in one of the most important factor for mixing. And Ray35 will definitely helps to bring me to the next step. |

Was worried maybe the sound with no selector switch might not be to my liking, but it is. Set EQ flat and was causing picture frames to move all over the house. Can't wait to try it on a stage! Looking for a case for it, if anyone has a spare...

I'm getting a Ray35 tomorrow! Can't wait! And yes, the naming is one of the worst I've ever seen. It doesn't help that there's also a Music Man bass called the Sterling. |
