| My Tonyfrankenbass
I have had the Tony Franklin signature bass for about two years and absolutely love this bass. Last summer, I bought an American Standard jazz bass which is a great bass as well. The thing is, I love the jazz tone more the the precision tone. The p-bass has a good tone but the jazz comes out more when I'm playing with my band. I play a lot of fretless bass so I swapped necks and placed the rosewood neck on the TF P-bass and put the fretless ebony neck on the jazz. I know the tony Franklin is a p/j set up but I never used the pickup selector switch for the precision pickup or the used them both simultaneously. I cant wait to try it out at the next practice. |
