| | | | Love it. My father had one of those, many many years ago. It was a 60's too. He got it in the early 70s. Brings back nice memories. Thanks. :-) |

Welcome to TB ..... now you're going to learn getting GAS really means! | Ampeg V4B is the head I'd like to eventually get. Until then I'm happy to play through whatever so long as I'm jammin'! |

| | | | It just sounds like classic Geezer Butler. It's "bouncy" and has such a unique round tone. |

Is it strung with flats? |

There's no sound like that of a 60's EB-series with the mudbucker. I enjoy mine - I don't use it all night, but for certain numbers where it's without peer.

Mine was an EB-0L with slotted headstock, probably a '69 or '70.
Congrats on a great purchase. |

| | | | That's an inspiring bass. I got to play one of those through an old blue Kustom 200 amp and cab once. Oh boy. |

Congrats on a great purchase. | There was one of those hanging next to it for the same price. I was considering it, too. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
