NBD?

Well, I've actually had the bass since I was in high school (about 17 years now). It started off white with a rosewood neck, then it got a BAD refinish to black with a graphite neck. After playing it forever like that, I thought I would let it evolve again.

It's Reranch Oly White with a thin coat of their tinted clear, followed by a ton of clear-clear. It can look a bit green in some light, and sometimes a cream color. Not exactly what I thought I was going to get, but I'm not disappointed. I think it turned out cool.

Gimp, that refinish is worlds better than what you had previously! That finish goes quite well with the white pickguard and block-inlayed maple fretboard. To quote (or paraphrase) from the late, great Porter Wagoner:

"That's a mighty fiiiiiine job!"

Awesome! Thank you. Funny how things turn out when you care to follow advice and directions.

The bridge is an eBay special. Phil said it worked out just fine. It intonates well and has great sustain.

MUCH better look, IMO. I've just never been a fan of the stealth black look. I prefer some chrome to complement the black. But your "after" photo really looks great!

Thanks! Used it tonight at a show, and while the show wasn't the best, the bass was awesome. I'm super happy to have my number one back.
