Oh well, that was 2 times now I've tried to bond with a Fender Jazz (American Standard 5 years ago, Geddy Lee Sig recent) with no luck. So before my upgrade time limit was up I took the Geddy back and got this guy. I like everything about a Jazz except the sound! The P-Bass feels and sounds like home. I have to admit my small hands like the Geddy neck, this one feels like a baseball bat in comparison! I got a killer deal, it had been banging around the local Sam Ash for a while and has a ding and a few surface scratches, but that's OK, it has a new bone nut on it and plays fantastic. The serial number dates it as a 2009! Not sure if it sat in the back for a long time or at the warehouse, I don't really care i just find it odd....
Oh yeah, I did add the pickguard and pickup covers. It came stock with a white guard/black pickup cover.
