NBD: Bluesman Vintage CUSTOM '57 P This will take some explaining but the pics will tell the story on the fit and finish....I wanted to do something out of the ordinary and asked John at Bluesman how creative I could be.... The results are FAR better than I expected with the paint and the bass itself just sings! So if Sting explored his colorful artistic side in the 80's he might have come up with something like this: Started with a primer coat over a nice ash 57 P body ![]() Rout for a jazz bass neck as opposed to traditional P bass with the square heel ![]() Pick your paint colors and apply liberally ![]() ![]() Select your parts and assemble ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and PLAY!!!!! Video is loading to youtube as I type this!! |
