I would miss it, but looking at that beautiful instrument every day sure would help ease the pain. Truth is, though, once I get my tone, I really use the same settings throughout the gig. I use my hands and technique to adjust my tone at the gig, not knobs and switches.

So now I know who the winning bidder was!

No, you won't. I think this might be one of Kevin's top three finishes ever!

I think you will find it more versatile then you think.

I am sure Brad can give you lots of info on it.

Damn that's beautiful. I love Brubakers.

You won't even notice not having a neck pickup.

Thumbs up

Rev Jones of the Michael Schenker Group has two single pickup Phoenix basses, a fretless and fretted. I played both of them before they went out. I'm a dyed in the wool two pickup man but I didn't miss anything with that pickup in the sweetspot on either bass. Kind of surprised tbh.

Will you? Beats me.

You got a great deal on a very nice bass. I'm guessing you already knew that.

That is simply spectacular! Brubakers are works of art.

More pics please - this is worthy of becoming desktop wallpaper.

Hey, when you get the bass taken some new pics, especially one with you wearing it and one in a stand so we can really see the fretboard and beauty!

Very, very nice!

I always love a NBD worth showing off!

The fretboard looks nothing short of stunning.

It comes with chromes, I don't know if it came like that from the factory or the previous owner changed all the hardware, I don't think so though!

Brubakers have never done much for me. I know they are good sounding and nice playing.
I have always felt the same way about single cut's. Just not for me.

But that bass is HOT!!!
I love it and would rock the heck out of it.

Congratulations
