It looks nice, needs a setup, not a huge fan of the inlays but it's a cool 7 string, cool body and headstock. The problem: it's only working in passive mode, I changed the battery, no luck, looks like I am going to have to toss in another preamp. Going off of the pictures of the knob layout, what would you recommend? I like a warmer sound with some growl, not too modern and hifi sounding. This bass actually sounds surprisingly good in passive mode but I only have volume control and pickup selection. Thanks for the assistance fellow audiophiles.

*EDIT* Sorry, I do now.

I recommend you visit www.bestbassgear.com . Real helpful people that carry a ton of preamps to choose from. Nice looking bass.

And did you check to make sure all the solders are good in the preamp? Maybe something came loose from the circuit board?

That's one of those Antoniotsai basses, right?

I know I want a three band, I do like that it has the active passive switch currently.

P.S. My I-Phone 4's camera is one of the best I have ever used. Is you phone an earlier version?

It's a regular iPhone 4, I don't know if it makes a difference but I had to run my pictures through an app because they were too large to put in. It is a beast, I haven't played a bass with an unwound string before so it's strange.

It's really cool but the headstock looks like a giant bottle opener. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
