NBD - but a sad story

In an attempt to try to forget my troubles for a while (my spouse recently passed away unexpectedly) I took my twin eight year old daughters out for a shopping/lunch outing. In the process I wandered into my local Sam Ash store and walked out with this Spector Legend Classic 5. It's really nice and at least momentarily I can distract myself.

One thing I will say is to never take anything or anyone for granted because you never know when it will be the last time.

Congrats on the new bass! What a beauty

I'm sorry to hear about your spouse I wish you all the best for the time to come. It will not be easy for you, especially since you have 2 children. But although the time seems like it's frozen, you never walk alone

My deepest sympathy on your loss. No words.

Very nice bass. Make music with your soul. You will be the light of both your daughters lives. And you will probably rumble a few walls as well.

Nice bass. Really sorry for your loss.

I lost my first wife unexpectedly as well. It really shows you how much you take for granted, when it all goes away.

Sounds to me like a custom truss rod cover is in order.

A fine looking bass that is! I'm so sorry for your loss... Like others, I am reminded of how very special each and everyday is and given hope by the message Easter brings. Peace and prayers to you and your family man..

Nothing will ever be able to replace your wife. Cherrish the memories.
The nice bass you purchased will allow you to put your thoughts towards something positive and self gratifying. Play the heck out of it and enjoy.
Prayers are with you and your children.
