The Roto trubass set is 65-135,with a 115 E,pretty much the same as the Labella set,so i don't know. The wrap on the rotos is a lot bigger and looser looking than the labellas on my fretless. I have ordered a new set of the Labella white tapewounds for the 5 string. I will probably try to sell the rotos, since they are brand new. I have not used or liked any rotosound strings in decades now,and it looks like these are not going to change my mind about them. The nut looks original to me,so if the new labellas don't fit in the slots,i will file them a bit. I was thinking about puting flatwounds or even half rounds on the bass, but i think the labella's are a great sonic match for these basses.
Meanwhile, here's another pic of the back of the bass. The trans green looks really nice over the mahogoney, doesn't it?
