NBD: Craigslist SX Jazz

I've been looking for a budget Jazz and found one on Craigslist today. I currently own a SX fretless and now I have this one to go with it. Yay me!

That's sharp. Normally I don't a flame-y top and pearl pickguard, but stick them together and wham, pretty cool. Blocks help!

Whoa! Some of my SX 5ers have pearloid guards but I had to fork out to have them custom cut. I've never seen an SX 5er with a quilted top like that! Mine are just plain old Ash wood grain. This is a killer find!

Nice! Very few SX basses in Toronto for sale for a reasonable price.

The bass needed a fret level as there were a number of high frets on the fretboard between the octave and the bridge.

Now, with a the neck set to very little relief, I now have pretty low action.

Ok guys... but I never happened to come across an SX bass just like that

Have no idea what its price was, but I really think it's a steal, in a very good sense
(in Europe, a steal is when something's is really... too much...)
I know it's not the case over you, so I feel some envy goin' on

Great bass

Cheers,
Wallace
