NBD! Dean Jeff Berlin

Just picked this one up used at gc for a great price!!

All my other basses are passive so i was looking for a cheap active bass to mess around with and came across this. I love the fact it can switch between active/passive, although i may install a passive tone pot. It came with some tapewounds which sound great but i think they're better off on my fretless

Anyone have any suggestions for a set of gold colored strings to match the hardware?

Excuse the crappy webcam pic..

Signature strings for Signature Bass...

...But the signatures don't match!

Alchemy Randy Jackson strings

More info on them, seems to be lots of distaste for them.

There's probably other "gold" strings out there, but I have a set of these and like them.

Congrats!

Try the Optima Maxima 24K Gold Roundwound Strings in long scale. Not cheap, but real purdy lookin’.
