NBD: Deluxe Precision Blonde/Maple
Wow. As mentioned in an earlier thread, my first new bass was purchased in or around 1971. This is my second new bass. I am stunned by the quality and tone options. Infinitely adjustable through a thousand useful tones. 8lbs 3oz. Zero neck dive. This is my new favorite bass.

Looks like the pics are kinda small. I will provide better ones. She's a beauty.

Looks like it's Natural rather than Blonde. But I think I know what you meant: Natural Blonde... ;)

Better pics. I love this bass. 8lbs 3oz. A thousand amazing tones. Action is 2mm on E and A, less than that on D and G. No fret buzz. I have proof that Fender knows how to make bass guitars.

Yes they are, Mr. McCartney. <wink> I fell in love with this bass when I first saw it on the Fender website. That was Fall of 2012. In fell in and out of love with other basses in the meantime, but never lost my infatuation with this model. Now that I have played one, I have to agree with the strong positive remarks I have read about them, here and elsewhere. The quality of this thing is still a bit intimidating.
I recognize that Fender has made some lemons over the years. But...most of the vintage units I have fondled over the years have been amazing. This one is like those.

I have been lusting over a Deluxe Jazz for some time now and I would rather have one of these than anything they have in the Custom Shop Fender has upped their game over their entire line and I'm happy for them I'm tired of every other bass maker ripping their original designs off.
