What is the finish like on the back of your neck? Is your truss rod an old school Phillips screw, or a modern truss rod (Allen wrench) adjustment? |

Really thin. Added pix below for you. Attachment 310650 Attachment 310651

I may have have the pick guard and body professionally beveled to allow easy access to the truss rod. I do all my own set ups and that would be a real time saver. Thank u so much for sharing! |

I'd be really interested to hear... |

The first thing I will look for is how she sits in the mix. A bass can sound great on its own, but not sit in the mix quite the way I like it too. For me, that comes down to where the mids sit. I will EQ my amp flat...and my Shuttlemax head is really flat and let's the natural tone of an instrument shine thru. To me, a great complement to any instrument is to look at the bass channel of the board when playing a venue thru a large PA and see that the engineer basically left the EQ flat on the board. So far, I am pretty sure this bass will sit in the mix just how I want it to! |
