NBD - Fender Seafoam P Deluxe

Saw this at Guitar Center today and could not pass it up. It's a MIM Metallic Seafoam Green P Bass Deluxe. Basically a P Deluxe Special with an upgraded bridge, bound maple neck with black blocks, plus the cool paint job. Active P pickups plus a Jazz bridge pickup on a P Bass body with a Jazz neck. Really a cool looking, great playing bass. These iphone photos don't do it justice.

Wow, that's a stunning bass. I love the blocks with the seafoam green.

Excellent Bass! I picked one up two months ago and I can't put it down since. I've played about eight gigs and my sound man and band loves the friggen tone.

Actually the bridge is off BlackTop (Precision/Jazz) series

While the neck is the reason behind many suspicions on relocation at Ensenada's facilities of the Geddy Lee Jazz lines from Fender Japan...

Many congrats buddy
Cheers,
Wallace

PS:
Roger you're so cool with yours and you gotta sound special with that MarkBass head!

I tried one of the in GC a few months ago. Great feeling IMO, felt very comfortable. Sounded just dandy, looks good and the fit & finish was up to par. very nice.

Now I want one.

Is that seafoam, or is it surf green? Wouldn't be a talkbass thread without some nitpicking!

I think it's 'surf pearl' which is a metallic paint

They should call it Sexy Pearl. I've got a soft spot for the classic colors.

Congrats. A very pretty bass and she is special. Best of both worlds IMO.

Thanks guys! I literally haven't been able to put her down since I bought her. I'm loving the variety of tones I can get out of her while playing with the band.

As for the color, when I bought her the hang tag called it "Pearlescent Seafoam Green"
