We are thrilled that you are thrilled! It was a real pleasure to work with you on your Spec and to help you actualize the tone and feel you had in your head. After all, that is exactly what we are here for. Play it in good health!!

Cheers,

J

Question: What are those three sort of low flat black (what I guess are knobs) things below the usual preamp active control? Are they adjustments for the preamp cut-off frequencies or something? If they are actual knobs I really like the look of low flat secondary controls as opposed to some basses that use the same knobs all over giving a knob-city kind of look.

(Zero knowledge of Fodera basses here...)

Those are switches that can be set up to do different things via internal preamp controls. They can do active/passive, frequency select for bass and mid eq knobs, single coil/dual coil, or a "kill" switch, which is a requirement for a mil spec Foderas in combat zones.

Hey Jordan, I'm at Hanscom AFB at the Band of Liberty... nice playing and nice bass!

Kenny's Fodera is pretty nice, for sure. I think its a Monarch.

The band bought me a Fender P.

Haha, robin, probably because the only instruments you should put a kill switch on are the bagpipes and banjos.... and yes we have both, but thankfully not in my band.

You know, for once in my life I'd like to watch someone play Bach with some serious bass stank face. Is this too much to ask ?

Beautifully done sir, and one helluva bass.

Thank you for your service.

Make it Bach funky now !
