NBD- G&L Tribute JB-2

I have been considering a J for a long time, and finally pulled the proverbial trigger. I am quite pleased overall.
The single coil snarl is exactly what I was looking for, it came with some nice D'Addrio nickels that tuned up quickly, and damn! she looks good. The gig bag and tools are also top notch.
My only gripe is the rough fret edges, but I can fix that.
Very happy!

I also got a guitar, but I'll spare you the details...

Congrats! For the past 3 yrs, My go-to bass is a natural/rosewood version. I recently changed the pots as they got noisy now it's as good as new.

I didn't realize they came with the gig bag still...seems the prices have dropped. I just ordered one with 15% off from MF

Congrats. I have the exact same model and love it. It is a joy to play and sounds awesome. I modded it by adding a HipShot Xtender.

Mine is coming Tuesday; I have had six or so Fender J's over the years but ergonomics usually send me back to my P despite the great J neck. We'll see how this one does. Plus, I always play ash bodies and the natural is a winner for me.
