Thumbs up NBD: Glasstone GSJ-5M type bass

Picked this up earlier this week from Pastor Sammie Glass (www.glasstonesound.com). Mahogany body, Maple top, Wenge neck/board, Ebony ramp. Oil finish. Tesla dual coils with John East U-Retro preamp. Hipshot hardware, Dunlop straplocks. Nice weight, sounds great. Shot these pics at dusk.

With my new Glasstone 2-12 cab. 32 lb. with Faital neo drivers.

Both pieces worked out great today. Looking forward to more gigs.

I like the bass, but it appears that your car has been sucked into a wormhole. Just wanted to alert you to that...

Is that ramp off-centered, or is it the pics?

Got to play on this thing today and it's just ridiculous. I don't think there are proper adjectives to describe exactly how massive the bass sounds. Brad gets all the cool stuff, it just ain't fair . If the bass I have on order turns out half as awesome I'll be set for a loooong time.

It really isn't fair, is it?

Looking forward to checking your bass out.

nice. local love. I've been aware of Glasstone but man that "Gabriel" + diggin'the 210/112 cab! On a side note, I've always been interested in playing Gospel, maybe it was my time spent at Shenendoah University, watching their Harambe Choir/band, although my interest came from before that, meeting cats from a church backgorund. BTW: my last name is Schwartz. Just sayin', love it the basses and the philosophy! Fred

Hey Brad! Talked to Pastor Sammie over the weekend, but I couldn't make it to his place to test out the cab. He sent me a clip of Malcom doing a light demo of it on Youtube. Needless to say my order will be in soon.

That bass is wonderful too, I'd love to hear it!

Cool I'll check it out when I get home.....oh yeah, you've converted me to Fat Beams! They seem to have a heftier sound but just enough bite on the high end, which is perfect for the Cirrus!!

You know what, this is the same clip Pastor Glass sent me. I'm still in awe of how powerful this cab is! Plus playing a Brubaker doesn't make it any better!!
