NBD Kubicki Owner AT LAST!!!!!!

Well.... not quite NBD yet... But it is paid for and shipped! I cant wait to get it!!!

After trying to find a good one the past few months I finally became a Kubicki Bass owner! And on top of that I found a fretless. It is a post Fender one Serial number 2079 02/90

I will post more pictures of the bass when I get it!

Here are the pictures from the CL ad...

Should be here in a few days! I just cant wait!!! I am so so excited!

I love finding things like this! What a SCORE!!!!

That is a very good price. Now you might be able to afford sending it to Phil. For somewhere south of $400, he will refurbish it. All new fasteners, buff the body, recondition the board and check out all the electronics.

Either way, you are in for a treat, enjoy.

About 10 yearts ago I was at Jax Beach and happened to wander by the Pavillion there on the beach and heard music. When I got to where I could here the mix well I was blown away by the bass player's tone and chops. I finally got close enough to see that he was playing a black Kubicki through mic'd SWR cab. He absolutely crushed it.

I'd say you picked up a sweet ride. Congrats !

I think that most of us have had things in our life that were "Kubicki" moments... For me it was the Stu Hamm poster that I had from Guitar Magazine that I had for so long that the corners were I pinned it up on my wall were gone from use.... Listening to a local band called the "Warren Commission" where the bass player played on a Kubicki... After all when the coolest cars growing up were the Lamborghini Countach and the Vector... This was the only bass that was anywhere as cool as those cars. I am so happy to have reached the point in my life that I can get one... and was persistent enough to get one.

Anyway... I am super happy!
