I'm not big on active basses in general but both of these had the growl and sounded very natural and very flexible, responding beautifully to attack and hand placement. What comfortable necks, too!
Congratulations on yours, it is truly a thing of beauty in a very original way. |

But, when done right, orange can just click.
I have only seen 3 "done right" - The Markus Orange Lakland, a NYC Sadowsky that recently sold here, and now this Lull.
That is some pretty nice company!
(ps: I understand winding the strings way down on the the pegs to get a better break angle, but isn't that overdoing it a little! LOL!) |

| | | That color is one of my personal favorites.
I believe it is the Chevrolet Corvette color from just a few
years ago called "Daytona Sunset Orange". It has a yellow-gold basecoat that makes it glow through the candy orange
topcoat in bright light. Makes for a stunning finish!
Congrats!

This candy apple finish actually changes hue a bit depending on the lighting. It can sometimes veer a bit towards gold/rootbeer. Mike also does a trans orange that I may have to investigate
