NBD: Musicman Sterling!!!

Hi guys, I am pretty new here. Been doing a ton of reading, a little shopping, & very minimal talking. Thanks to Basser05 my new (to me) Musicman Sterling came in today! So far this thing is awesome, although I have basically just looked at it and played it for a few seconds unplugged. I will remedy that this evening after work! The neck on this thing is amazing! It does need a setup, which basser05 told me it would, but I'll wait till my new D'Addario chromes come in for that. Anyway here are some pics for now, more later on!

Looks just like mine did when I bought it new in '94. I still love it. Good luck with yours - I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

That looks REALLY nice! I'm thinking about getting a 5-string version of these basses.

Best I can tell it is an 02' or 03' model. It is in very nice shape, just 1 little ding that Basser05 pointed out. Can't wait to get it set up. I have been playing a MIM P-bass. Definitely feels different than that, but I like it so far.

Thanks! I am liking this place so far, there is a wealth of knowledge here! What part of Ohio are you from? I live in NE KY on the Ohio river. I am just getting into playing bass heavily & loving it. I have played guitar for about 15 years, I must say playing bass is a lot different than I thought coming from guitar. I can't wait to unleash this Musicman this evening.
