NBD!! My dream bass, 1968 Telecaster

I splurged big time and bought myself a 40th B'day present. I've always wanted a vintage SCPB, and this tele came available Tuesday, just in time for my 40th! I'm prone to trade basses often, but this one is definitely a keeper. It's all original except for the pickguard, and is just what I wanted, down to the lollipops. It's in great shape, like it's been under a bed for several years. I'm very thankful that it came my way. Please ignore the bad pics. And my feet.

Edit: the bass, not your feet (just so we're clear).

Thanks for all the kind comments. One time playing on it and it was all over. The sound and the neck I've been looking for. Think I'm gonna try GHS pressurewounds on it since it's single coil. Love flats on my split coil P but never have liked them on my Jazz that I traded for this bass.

Ahhhh.... my first bass. Wish I hadn't destroyed it with a pair of pliers. (home-done fret job by a friend). It was not as clean as yours. A beautiful piece of history you got there. Leave her alone and just play her! ; )

I've already been asked, "you gonna rehearse/gig with that?" The answer-"absolutely!" This baby's been under the bed for enough years. She wants to be PLAYED!
