NBD Peavey T-40 $ 100!

grabbed this Peavey T-40 for $100 the other day...needed a fair amount of setting up...and has its fair share of dings..but now that i managed to get it set up i remember what i have always dug about T-40s!

they really should make an updated/reissue of them imho

so many tones...and heavy as all get out...

couple crappy cell pics failing to upload...will resize and post

Damn, dude... $100 is rad. I thought I got a good deal on my $150 Peavey Fury.

The T-40 was a gigging bass for me for a while. The only gripe I still have is the coil tap thing above 7 on the tones. Really wish it was kinda like a normal tone. I wouldn't buy a bass w/ 'buckers if I wanted a single coil sound... Just sayin'

has it's fair share of dings...but darn hasn't it reminded me of why a T-40 was such a versatile bass to begin with....

Very nice. Can't believe you got it for one hundred bones! And I don't think I've ever seen one in blue. Looks good. Hope to score a T-40 soon for myself.

Very good score for $100 w/ case. You should be very proud. I saw one in a pawnshop about a year ago, and they wanted like $400. I had some band name etched into the body, and the body had been planed to thin it out. I'd have only given them $30 dollars for the condition it was in,and that would only have been just for the neck and parts.Congrats again!!

$100 for that bass - with a nice case - is an absolute steal.

Not likely to be eBay as a single knob is going for $25!

Very nice!
This reminds me, I STILL need to buy me a knob.

Recently scored a T-20 for $50 in a pawn shop rescue mission, and LOVE it.
Now thanks to this, and that video above the T-40 is on my radar.

LOVE, that blue.
Very nice indeed. Enjoy it!
