NBD! Spector Euro 5lx

Hi all! I'm finally able to tell the good news, I'm now a proud member of the Spector family, and here's my first ordered bass!

I chose the black matte stain finish and asked them to not put inlays on the fretboard, I just love that look.

Plays like a dream out of the box and only two strings out. It was shipped from Czech Rep. to Norway so that's pretty good!

Ok, now the part you've been waiting for!

Just look at the finish! Beautifil!

As a Spector owner myself, this may be blasphemy, but without fretboard inlays, that Euro looks like a Warwick.

Is the maple body a non laminate? It looks that way. Didnt know they did that in Europe. Very nice bass.

LOL. Nah, the bridge gives it away. Now this is definitely Spector blasphemy. I have never loved the crown inlays. There I said it. I don't dislike them. But I'm certainly not wild about them. Different strokes...I own, and love, a Spector Forte. I love the no inlay aesthetic. Congratulations Profania_Bass on a unique and beautiful instrument. I wish you both many years of music making and fun.

Wow!I think your right. It does not look like the normal Euro sandwich construction. Alder back, walnut middle and maple top. Maybe it's a custom option?
