NBD: well... sorta

Bought this bass from this thread a while back:
Fretless P Bass - Custom Paint - Mighty Might Neck

Its a Squier P body and Mighty Might Fretless neck custom painted by TBer StreetScenes. I dropped in a Duncan SPB-1, swapped in black hardware and put a faux carbon fiber pickgaurd. The green strings came from StreetScenes and I actually don't hate them. This is a cool little fretless bass to dink around on. Not really normally what I am into, but I wanted it to look like the Oregon Duck football uniforms...

Haha... I totally hear you, I am a vintage style jazz bass guy through and through, but I loved the color and wanted to do something different with it. Wait till you see the next one we are working on...

Never thought I'd see the day when I liked the look of neon colored strings, but they look awesome on your bass. Very cool color combinations. And that unlined board, mmmm.

Haha, you and me both... I never cared much for the coated strings at all, but figured on a fretless it might be ok. Probably won't be putting them on any of my other basses though...

I really like the pickguard. The strings look work as well. Just think, next time you play under the black lights you will glow! :P

How do they sound? I was going use set of Black Beauties, but I picked up a set and the g or a string had a odd vibration sound. I took them back and same thing with the new set.
