NBD Yamaha RBX765A
Well, used NBD. Picked this green monster up last night for $150. Came with a nice Fender gig bag as well but luckily it fits in one of my old hard cases. Sounds great. Serial # dates it to 2000 and it's in surprisingly good shape for being that old. The string spacing will take some getting used to as it's a little wider than I'd prefer but aside from that and the green color and fading/flaking gold hardware I think this will be my main home bass from here on out. Have an idea in my head that I'd like to strip the green and go with a translucent dark red but we shall see. Will have to do some Googling and see how much of a pain that job would end up being.

Keep the green! Looks good to me, and my favorite color is red!

Yeah, keep the green. Not my favorite color but it looks good on that bass.

Refinished it. Webcam doesn't do it justice but here it is.

Y'know, that also looks quite nice. What about the headstock?

I don't much like green but liked that one o.k. However, I'll tale grain over green any day! Nice axe no matter what.

I had a red RBX 765A. Always thought it was a great bass but eventually decided I just don't like 5 strings and sold it.
But if you like 5's, it's a killer bass for the $...

Here's the headstock and the back.
