I'll call it New (to me) bass week.. An older Brubaker Brute, with some killer mods. I've had a few days to really get into into it and, man.. its pretty cool. I can't base any of my opinions on the stock electronics, as it has Classic series barts and an OBP-3 preamp.
The fingerboard is slightly flatter than your typical fender 5, with a slightly wider bridge spacing. Nothing that takes too much adjustment to get used to. The neck-thru/bolt-on thing it has going on really works.. in some way.. hard to describe. It's different that your standard bolt-on.....
... but i like it!!
I'm considering upping the pre to 18 volt. The barts seem pretty quiet. Anyhow... crappy cell phone pic included!
